Here is a flashback to the day we installed the raised bed.  It was later in the season, August 2011 to be exact.  The North side of the house had nothing but a bunch of rock hard dirt.  Before we installed the raised bed, the neighbors who lived in the bungalow next to us had a dingy blanket hanging on the clothing line that they never brought inside.  It looked so ugly.  Once they moved out, I was able to clean up our side of the shared space and start planting and growing!  I was so happy and excited!  We started with one bed which is about 5x3 in size, and then a few weeks later, we installed a smaller bed.
