It's my favorite time of year. The garden is now modestly decked out for Halloween.

The light is so beautiful this time of year. I paid a visit to Descanso Gardens Monday afternoon and took some photos.
This Green Lynx spider has been sitting on this egg sac for a while now. She's made a home in my pot of Cosmos but the flowers are just about done blooming. Until she has her kids, I don't think I'm getting my pot back!
